Sexton 葡萄園位於 Warramate 山脈的陡峭山坡上，坐落在雅拉穀最受推崇的產區之一。由於地處山脈北向坡的高處，表土層較薄，根系在堅硬的岩石黏土基底之上，紮根於淺層礫質壤土之中。在這種環境下，自然形成了較低的產量，果實風味濃郁，皮汁比高。該園選用的黑皮諾克隆品系包括 G5V15，該克隆能很好地適應溫暖氣候和陽光照射，釀造出多汁、飽滿的葡萄酒。來自 Sexton 的黑皮諾具有迷人的質地，帶有黑櫻桃、李子、甜香料的氣息以及年輕而有活力的單寧。

手工採摘，在小型橡木發酵罐和不銹鋼罐中混合發酵。MV6 克隆批次採用整串發酵，其餘克隆則去梗後以整顆漿果形式進行4 天冷浸漬，隨後啟動發酵。最終調配中整串發酵比例占 20%。

所有批次均在法國橡木桶中陳釀 10 個月，其中 25% 為新桶，75% 為舊桶。陳釀期間酒液保持靜置，與酒泥接觸，直至 12 月進行調配，採用重力自流裝瓶，不經澄清，不經過濾。

香氣層次豐富而純淨：成熟的黑覆盆子、黑加侖軟糖、櫻桃利口酒、野生紅果、柑橘皮、覆盆子灌木叢、碎石以及一絲玫瑰的氣息交織在一起。入口多汁而豐腴，單寧成熟飽滿、緊實有力，質感細膩而富有結構感。酒體中等，口感中帶有乾草莓的風味，整體深度與張力俱佳，暗藏力量。與同年份其他單一園黑皮諾相比，Sexton 是最為豐盛、肉質感和直接的一款，更具結構感。

A deep crimson ruby. Aromas of ripe dark raspberries, blackcurrant pastilles (these were always my favourite) and even a little kirsch. A touch of rose bush. The palate is juicy and fleshy and the wine’s ripe, plush tannins make this, along with the Primavera, the richest, meatiest and most immediate of the four single-vineyard pinots in ’24.

Pure and refined, with aromas of wild red fruits, summer flowers, citrus peel, raspberry bushes and crushed stones. The palate is firmly framed, with a high level of polish and a textural, mid-weighted mouthfeel, giving notes of dried strawberries. Great depth and tension, with underlying power.

The 2024 Sexton Vineyard Pinot Noir is incredibly perfumed, with apples and rose petals, cherry and blood plum. In the mouth, the tannins are quite grippy and firm—still eminently fine but with rigidity. This is quite different from the other Pinot Noirs in this vintage release, more structural and not as complex.

2003年，釀酒師Steve Flamsteed加入，與Phil一起開啟了單一園（Single Vineyard）的釀造計畫，專注於表達雅拉穀不同地塊的風土個性。2021年，才華橫溢的Mel Chester接任釀酒與葡萄栽培總監，帶領酒莊邁向新的高峰。注重葡萄精選，致力於使高柏麗酒莊葡萄酒回歸至20世紀初的品質與形象，他為該酒莊的風格與聲譽建立了新的里程碑。
