Chateau Monbousquet(蒙寶石酒莊)位於法國波爾多右岸的聖埃美隆(Saint-Emilion)產區,是聖埃美隆列級莊(Grand Cru Classe)之一。同時亦是目前也是聖埃美隆一級A特等酒莊(Premier Grand Cru Classe A)柏菲酒莊(Chateau Pavie)的擁有者傑拉德·佩斯(Gerard Perse)擁有的第一家酒莊(與1993年收購)。自1994年之後,酒莊每年生產的酒質都處於極高的水準,該酒莊1995年份及1998年份的葡萄酒在盲品酒會中獲得羅伯特•帕克(Robert Parker)讚譽,其表現甚至勝過很多知名的酒莊。

Chateau Monbousquet(蒙寶石酒莊)酒莊歷史可以追溯到1540年,酒莊當時由Francois de Lescours 所有,後來幾百年間幾經轉手,1858年由Comte de Vassal-Montviel買下並不斷的擴大酒莊葡萄園的面積,酒莊繁榮發展,知名度得到了很大的提升,後來成為聖埃美隆地區最大的酒莊之一。之後幾經周轉由現在的一級莊柏菲酒莊(Chateau Pavie)莊主傑勒德·佩斯(Gerard Perse)買下,他們買下之後更新了酒莊的排水管道和釀酒設備,並修建了新的酒窖,聘請了著名釀酒師米歇爾·羅蘭(Michel Rolland)擔任釀酒顧問。在佩斯家族的悉心打理下,蒙寶石酒莊的葡萄酒品質突飛猛進。2006年,蒙寶石酒莊順利升級為聖埃美隆優等列級莊 Grand Cru Classe








Chateau Monbousquet 的葡萄園坐落於Saint Emilion西南部,佔地33公頃,南部擁有深厚的礫石土壤,有利於吸收熱量和排水,北部多沙質黏土。園內種有梅洛(Merlot)、品麗珠(Cabernet Franc)、赤霞珠(Cabernet Sauvignon)及其他白葡萄品種。在葡萄園的管理上,蒙寶石酒莊秉持精益求精的理念,嚴格監控葡萄生長的各個環節,投入大量人力進行精細化管理,以確保出產優質的葡萄果實。


葡萄經人工採摘後置於控溫的不銹鋼罐中發酵。發酵完成後,酒液進入新橡木桶中熟化18至24個月。熟化期間,釀酒人員每三個月會對葡萄酒進行一次倒罐(Racking)。為了保持葡萄酒的純正風味,蒙寶石酒莊的葡萄酒在裝瓶前一律不經澄清過濾。


Monbousquet 是 Gerard Perse 第一家收購的酒莊,由一個釀酒門外漢到擁有右岸最頂級莊和一系列右岸頂級名莊 Pavie , Pavie Decesse , Bellevue Mondotte , 在 Castillon 的 Clos Lunelles 和 Esprit de Paive 等等... 凡經他收購的莊都能點石成金,靠的是他一絲不苟的工作態度和完美主義者的思維,自   Perse 家族掌舵以來,Monbousquet 酒莊出產的葡萄酒一直具有高品質,是聖埃美隆地區的最傑出佳釀之一。品酒無數的酒界泰斗Robert Parker曾說過:Gerard Perse的領導下,Monbousquet 酒莊顯得與眾不同。能獲得Parker如此高的評價,可見Monbousquet 葡萄酒魅力非凡、品質優秀。除了釀造正牌Chateau Monbousquet(蒙寶石酒莊),酒莊還釀造副牌Angelique de Monbousquet 以及白葡萄酒 Chateau Monbousquet blanc。

呢款擁有藍莓、布冧,黑李既豐富水果香氣,同時保有朱古力、皮革同咖啡香氣。單寧細緻,厚身順滑,並帶有少許奶油口感。著名酒評家Jeff Leve甚至認爲2018年是Monbousquet酒莊是有史以來最佳年份。

Espresso crema and melted black licorice aromas give way to a lush range of cassis, plum reduction and blackberry confiture flavors that roll through with authority. Long finish is carried by a buried graphite note and hint of smoldering earth. An amped in style but if you like muscle and panache, you'll dig this. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Really attractive aromas of crushed berries and black cherries with some violets and stones. It’s full-bodied with layers of ripe fruit and ripe tannins that give it density and intensity. Classy, polished tannins.

【Robert Parker 93pts】
The 2018 Monbousquet is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has a pH of 3.78 and 14.38% alcohol. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes bounding out of the glass with energetic notes of baked blackberries, kirsch and Black Forest cake, following by suggestions of Chinese five spice, iodine, unsmoked cigars, eucalyptus and crushed rocks with a waft of lavender. The palate is full-on full-bodied, possessing tons of rich, spicy black fruits and a velvety texture, delivering impressive tension for this level of ripeness, finishing long with a lifted savoriness. Give it 3-4 more years in bottle and drink it over the next 20+ years.

Black cherry, plum, espresso, licorice and chocolate all flesh out in the glass. Sumptuous, racy and intense, the 2015 has a lot to offer. In this vintage, the two wines from the property are relatively close in style. I prefer to drink Monbousquet on the earlier side.
