Chateau Gruaud Larose（金玫瑰城堡）坐落於法國波爾多聖朱利安（Saint-Julien）產區的西南部，在波爾多1855分級中被評為二級莊。
酒莊歷史可追溯到1725年，Joseph Stanislas Gruaud買下此處50公頃的地塊並開始種植葡萄，金玫瑰城堡的序幕由此揭開。在Gruaud家族中，有兩位家族成員，法官Abbe Gruaud和牧師Chevalier de Gruaud，對金玫瑰城堡的建立影響深遠。兩人將各自的地塊合併，創建了佔地面積達116公頃的豐伯德莊園（Fond Bedeau），並分別出售不同的酒款。
金玫瑰城堡的徽標是酒莊歷史的象徵：兩頭怒吼的雄獅是向阿基坦的英雄埃莉諾公主（Eleanor of Aquitaine）致敬，她於1152年嫁給了英國國王亨利二世；戰艦象徵著16世紀該地區偉大的地方總督，而降下的風帆正是向這位威權人物致敬；兩錨之間的葡萄代表著吉倫特三角洲（Gironde Estuary）和葡萄酒對波爾多地區的重要性。在金玫瑰城堡的徽標上刻著這樣一句話——“王者之酒，酒中之王”（Le Vin des Rois, Le Roi des Vins），這句話充分顯示出金玫瑰葡萄酒儘管算不上波爾多前列酒款，但卻足以贏得人們的尊重。
金玫瑰城堡正牌酒Chateau Gruaud Larose, Saint-Julien, France完美糅合了波雅克的力量感和瑪歌的細膩，香氣濃郁，結構良好，有著順滑而豐富的單寧，強勁感十足，是一款典型的聖朱利安葡萄酒。 數據顯示2017年金玫瑰城堡是該年波爾多表現最佳的紅葡萄酒之一；2018年，該酒款則入選Liv-ex葡萄酒百強、熱搜前50葡萄酒。而副牌酒的紅色更加富有光澤，散發著陣陣細緻優雅、富含果味的香氣，口腔中伴有豐富且柔和的單寧，回味悠長。
金玫瑰城堡的葡萄園佔地面積達82公頃，種有65%的赤霞珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）、25%的梅洛（Merlot）、5%的品麗珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）和5%的味而多（Petit Verdot），赤霞珠的比重較之前有明顯提升。園內擁有排水性佳且排水性良好的礫石層，非常適合赤霞珠的生長，土層有較大的空隙，適合葡萄樹往下紮根。礫石層下層為石灰質黏土和沙質土壤，為葡萄提供需要的養分，同時賦予了葡萄酒較高的單寧。園內種植密度為每公頃10,000株葡萄樹，平均樹齡為46年，其中赤霞珠老藤的樹齡可達80年以上。在葡萄園管理方面，酒莊秉承尊重自然的原則，主張有機種植與生物動力法。
採收的葡萄經過嚴格篩選後，被置於30個容量為55至115百升不等的橡木桶和32個容量為50至100百升的水泥罐中進行酒精發酵。其後，酒液會被置於水泥罐和橡木桶中進行蘋果酸-乳酸發酵（malolactic fermentation）。發酵完成後，酒莊正牌酒的酒液會被轉入橡木桶陳釀18個月，新桶的使用比例為85%。

A barrel sample made up of 67% CabernetSauvignon, 31.5% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc, the medium to deepgarnet-purple colored 2017 Gruaud Larose offers a lifted nose of violets andkirsch over a core of cassis, baked plums and black raspberries with hints ofcigar box, menthol and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, elegant and very finelystructured with ripe tannins and lovely freshness, it has loads of vibrant redand black fruits with a mineral-laced finish.

Mid greyish crimson. Sweetness of black fruitand oak spice on the nose with a hint of vanilla. Fresh, very light on thepalate but the tannins are silky enough to be in balance with this ratherlight-bodied wine. Harmonious but it seems too light for the very long term.
