Gin comes from Glasgow, the capital of Scotland, and embraces the characteristics of the city itself. The Makar series comes from the ancient Scottish word for "maker" or craftsman. Makar Cherry Gin is based on Makar Original Gin from the same range, with ripe cherries and a handful of pink peppercorns added to soak it in, then pressed to release maximum flavour. Aromas of juniper and fresh juniper, followed by tangy cherry and subtle sweet spice. Perfect with tonic water on the rocks.

【The Glasgow Distillery】

The Glasgow Distillery was originally established in 1770. It was the first distillery in Scotland to obtain a brewing license and continued to operate until the early 20th century. The Glasgow Distillery inherited its name and set the primary goal of the establishment of the distillery to revive the local whiskey distilling process in Glasgow, and named the Glasgow Distillery single malt Scotch whiskey series after its founding year "1770".

The distillery is proud to custom-order pure copper stills named after family members and carefully brew each batch of liquor by hand. Combining high-quality barley from Scotland and pure water from Loch Catlin, a copper pot still is used to extract the purest and most delicate liquor.

The whiskey released by the distillery is matured in high-quality oak barrels, is non-chill filtered and is not coloured. Its core series "Initial Bourbon Version", "Peat Flavor Version" and "Triple Distilled Version" have won many awards in major world competitions since their launch, and their quality has been recognized.
