Blanton's Gold Edition was created for the discerning bourbon enthusiast who appreciates the extraordinary smoothness and complexity of bourbon.

The aroma begins with spicy rye and tobacco flavours. It is followed by caramel and honey, with dark fruit and citrus flavours.

The palate mimics the same complexity of aromas, with rye, tobacco and honey at the forefront. Round, bold flavours of charred oak and vanilla lead you into a very long, harmonious finish.

Always balanced and characterful, this bourbon rivals the best in the world. Best served straight or with a splash of water. Bottled at 51.5% abv.

As the third oldest distillery in the world and the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States, Buffalo Traces is the birthplace of bourbon and is considered by many to be the symbol of American whiskey.

The journey has not been without its challenges. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, bourbon faced a decline as vodka and other types of spirits became increasingly popular. It was during this time that Elmer T. Lee, then head distiller at Buffalo Traces, had a vision to create a premium bourbon that could stand up to any aged spirit.
