[1855 Third Level Dealer’s Second Card]
[Margaux, a famous district on the Left Bank】
Introduction: Chateau Cantenac Brown is located in the Margaux production area on the left bank of Bordeaux, adjacent to the first-class Chateau Margaux. Before the establishment of the park, it was just a small vineyard. It was acquired by the Boyd family in 1754 and built into a manor, which was named Chateau Cantenac at that time. The manor was acquired by the Brown family in 1806 and was officially renamed Chateau Cantenac Brown. After that, it changed owners several times, and in the 1885 winery rating, it was rated as a third-level winery. It was acquired by the Lalande family in 1960, the owners of the second-tier Chateau Leoville-Poyferre. The Lalande family vigorously developed the winery, and by the end of the 19th century, Chateau Cantenac Brown had become a famous Bordeaux winery. However, the Great Depression and war in the early 20th century made it impossible for the winery to operate as usual. It did not produce wine for more than 30 years and even became an abandoned manor. It was not until 1968 and 1989 that it was acquired by the Vivier family and the AXA Group respectively, and gradually regained its former glory. The current owner is the British businessman Simon Halabi, who purchased the manor from the AXA Group in 2006. Today, the estate is in very good condition, and their current goal is to elevate Château Cantenac Brown to the top wine in Bordeaux.

Brio de Cantenac Brown is the second wine of Cantenac Brown. It was born in 2001. Whether it is the wine label design style or the meticulous brewing process, it shows the modern achievements of the winery. The grapes for this wine come from pre-selected plots, allowing for targeted management by the winery. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Merlot usually accounts for a higher proportion. The finished wine has a rich fruity aroma when it is young. As time passes, it can also develop more charming flavors. Flavor and character, elegance and power.
