Chateau Brown is located in the Pessac-Léognan wine region of Bordeaux, France. It has been operated by Bernard Barthe since 1994.

The winery covers an area of 59 hectares. Since it is located in the north of the Pessac-Léognan production area and north of Chateau Olivier, the climate conditions are similar to Medoc, except that the temperature is higher and the rainfall is more.

The Chateau Brown vineyard covers an area of 29 hectares and is planted with red and white wine grape varieties. The red grapes include 60% Cabernet Savignon and 40% Merlot, and the white wine includes 45% Semillon and 45% Sauvignon Blanc. and 10% Muscadelle.
