Finesse and savoury black fruits and mint leaf with gentle rosemary. It has a quiet concentation, together with layers of graphite, slate, and a mouthwating finish. Both quiet and yet powerful, it gives an insight into what makes Lafite so singular, and that is all you can really ask of a 2nd wine. Interesting also in how it differs from Petit Mouton, such a brilliant distillation of the difference between the two estates.

Lafite's second wine is much closer to a balance of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that the first wine. It's also a properly rich, satisfying wine that is as much fruit as structure. Packed with blackberry fruits, it has a fresh character that dominates the firmer tannins and touch of bitter chocolate.

拉菲古堡正牌酒簡介：

對這支頂級酒已經無須更多介紹，1815年亞伯拉罕·勞頓已經將其列為頭牌佳釀。 「我將拉菲置於榜首，是因在前三款（頂級酒）中，拉菲最為優雅與精緻，它的酒體極為細膩。」1855年的分級制度確認了這一評價。至於拉菲的品質特徵，無論是哪一個年份，都可引一位品酒行家的稱讚作為評語，“凡入口之拉菲，皆擁有杏仁與紫羅蘭的芳醇。”

拉菲珍寶（小拉菲）簡介：

拉菲珍寶（小拉菲）幹紅葡萄酒是葡萄酒中的皇后——拉菲古堡的副牌酒，二十年來釀造拉菲葡萄酒的苛刻標準使副牌拉菲珍寶（小拉菲）幹紅葡萄酒也具有了與正牌相近的品質。對於那些達不到釀造拉菲古堡正牌葡萄酒標準的葡萄（產自樹齡30年以下的葡萄樹），拉菲古堡則用之來釀造副牌葡萄酒拉菲珍寶。
