Winery
Imagine this family story in Celles-sur-Ource, a corner of France's Cote des Bar region. Grandfather grew grapes and sold them to major Champagne houses. Then, father Daniel had a sudden inspiration and said, "Why don't we make our own wine?" In the 1990s, he began keeping the entire harvest for himself. This venture blossomed into a success – even daughters Émilie and Véronique were drawn into the mix. Now, three generations work together on their "fine Champagne experiment" on 15 carefully selected plots. Annual production? Just a few thousand bottles...
Even more interestingly, their neighbor is Cédric Bouchard—the mad genius who crafts the world's most sought-after champagne. Just imagine how remarkable the Kimmeridgian limestone terroir must be!
