Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne is a perfect embodiment of terroir, originating from vineyards slowly established since 1845 using bespoke sustainable viticultural practices. These practices include mixed selection, gentle pruning, biodynamic composting, and long periods of land fallow. Inspired by sustainable agriculture, Louis Roederer also employs a range of measures to balance the ecosystem and forge a close connection between humanity and nature.

Collection 246, aged for nearly four years in the estate's cellars, is a champagne that combines freshness, vibrancy, and ethereal elegance. It blends the tension and balance of the vintage, the crispness of a timeless reserve, and the complexity of oak-aged wines, elegantly and delicately showcasing ripe fruit aromas reminiscent of plum and candied mandarin, accompanied by a touch of soft oak, and captivating notes of toast and sea breeze iodine. It pairs perfectly with fine food and has the potential for long-term cellar aging. It can be enjoyed now or stored for several years, during which time it will age further and reveal another side of its identity.

This has pretty and elegant aromas of pears, apple blossoms, grapefruit and chalk. It’s silky, fresh and beautifully balanced on the palate, with very soft bubbles. Based on 2021, with reserve wine from a perpetual reserve created in 2012, plus reserve wines kept in oak from 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The NV Brut Collection 246 is positively stellar. It’s a terrific example of where Roederer is going with this cuvée stylistically. Brisk saline notes cut through a core of orchard fruit, mint, white pepper and slate. There are no hard angles or awkward contours.

A harmonious Champagne that shows impeccable balance, with depth and focus to its flavors of white cherry, Honeycrisp apple, tangerine peel and biscuit, while retaining vibrancy and grace. A chalky underpinning comes to the fore on the creamy finish, joining delicate spice and floral accents.

Louis Roederer is one of the famous French champagne brands, and its flagship champagne Cristal is even more famous around the world. The history of the winery can be traced back to 1776, two centuries ago. The winery was founded by Dubois and his son. In 1833, Louis Roederer took over the winery and renamed it after himself. Since then, the winery has been owned by the same family to this day. In 1970, Frédéric Rouzaud, the son of former president Jean-Claude Rouzaud, joined the family business and officially took over the operation in 1979. The current chief winemaker is Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon. Champagne expert Richard Juhlin believes: "He is the best in the world." One of the winemakers."

After Louis Roederer took over, he actively explored foreign markets. Louis Roederer was already a top global brand in the 19th century, and even reached annual sales of 2.5 million bottles in 1868! Tsar Alexander II of Russia appointed Louis. Hodel is his royal wine merchant. In 1876, Louis Roederer II brewed the world's first flagship champagne, Cristal, at the request of the Tsar.
