【Domaine Battault】

Domaine Battault's vineyards span 14 hectares, situated between Les Maranges and Santenay. This family-run estate boasts a long-standing history and deep-rooted heritage, supplying fine wines to restaurateurs, private individuals and wine merchants who appreciate its consistent excellence across vintages.

Grapes undergo destemming prior to transfer into fermentation vats to preserve their essence. Following approximately eight days of cold pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation proceeds using indigenous yeasts, with regular punching down and pumping over to extract the grapes' character. Depending on the vintage, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 to 14 months before being transferred to stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine meets appellation standards while bearing the distinctive character of Domaine Battault.

DOMAINE BATTAULT wines are divided into Bourgogne Côte-d'Or, Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune, Maranges 1er cru Fussière, Maranges 1er cru Clos Roussots, Santenay ‘Les Charmes’, Santenay 1er cru Clos Roussots, Santenay ‘Les Charmes’, and Santenay 1er cru C.

These white wines have beautiful names: Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune, Maranges 1er cru Fussière, Santenay ‘Les Charmes’ and Santenay 1er cru Clos Rousseau.
