Domaine Henri et Gilles Remoriquet red Burgundies, a 4th generation Domaine based in Nuits Saint Georges with some amazing vineyard holdings and producing some extremely high quality wines.

Domaine Remoriquet owns approximately 10 hectares of vineyards in the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée.
Les Bousselots is a Premier Cru vineyard in Nuits-Saint-Georges. The vineyard's clay-rich soil imparts structure and power to the wines. The average age of the estate's vines is approximately 50 years, allowing them to produce fruit with greater concentration and express the terroir's character.

The winery upholds a commitment to respecting nature in its viticulture, employing sustainable agricultural practices (certified by HVE High Environmental Value and Terra Vitis), prioritizing ecosystem balance, minimizing the use of chemical agents, and controlling yields to enhance fruit purity and flavor concentration.
For this wine, Domaine Remoriquet uses 100% destemmed grapes. After destemming, the grapes are sorted through a specialized "densiomatique" machine to remove underripe berries. A 4-5-day cold maceration enhances color and flavor. Fermentation is gentle, with less pigeage and more remontage to avoid over-extraction of tannins. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, with no more than 30% new, aiming for complexity rather than overly oaky notes.
