I200 - Enzo Boglietti Barolo Case Nere 2004
Price:$765 /bottle
Production area:Italy/ Piedmont
Grape varieties:100% Nebbiolo

Tasting Notes: Dark tawny brown in color, rich in spice and aromas of tobacco, cigars, plums, gooseberries, black cherries. The taste is palm, strawberry, sour cherry, tannins and dry body, which has been aged for many years. It's a gift full of flavor.
【Robert Parker 92pts】
2004 Barolo Case Nere is a dark, brooding wine endowed with notes of smoke, earthiness and tobacco that emerge from its intense frame. This contemplative wine opens nicely in the glass, showing notable delineation in its aromas and flavors, with plenty of stuffing to support the tannins. It remains a very finessed yet backward Case Nere in need of a few years of bottle age. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2022.

Enzo Boglietti is a family-run winery that produces around 100.000 bottles of grapes per year, entirely sourced from 22 hectares of vineyards. The winery is located in La Mora, while the vineyards are spread among the communities of La Mora, Barolo, Monfort, Serra Lunga, Alba, Rodino and Signo. Together with his daughter Linda and his son Matteo, Enzo Boglietti is dedicated to producing high quality wines. The land within the vineyard is silty soil, alkaline and low in organic matter, but high in sand and marine fossils, which is conducive to the production of high-quality wines full of terroir characteristics.

When we refer to Barolo, we are referring to one of the most famous wine regions in the world, and a wine that is exciting but above all reminiscent of its homeland. Barolo has created a true miracle, generating emotions that grow between present and past memories, history and tradition, pleasing the senses in a way that only terroir wines can. Regarding the winery of Boglietti, it explores 5 vineyards: Brunate, Case Nere, Fossati, Boiolo in Comune di La Morra and Arione in Comune di Serralunga.
