Introduction: G de Chateau Guiraud is a dry white wine launched by Chateau Guiraud. It is brewed from 25-year-old vine grapes picked at optimal ripeness from specially selected plots. It is aged for 6 months on the lees, half in stainless steel tanks and half in barrels previously used for grand wines, and undergoes malolactic fermentation in batches, which gives it its unique character.
The nose has mineral and flint aromas, and the entrance has fruity flavors of apple, guava, passion fruit, citrus flavors of lemon, lime peel and grapefruit, paired with the refreshing feeling of mint, balanced acidity, fresh and rich aroma. Chateau Guiraud is named after Pierre Guiraud, a Bordeaux wine merchant who bought the estate in 1766.
