This plum wine is made from fully ripened Nanko plums grown in the Ishigami region of Wakayama Prefecture, an area known for producing high-quality plums even in Kishu, the homeland of plums. Furugi cultivation is a special cultivation method recognized by Wakayama Prefecture that meets the standard of less than half of the amount of pesticides used. Its characteristic is that it does not use herbicides or chemical fertilizers at all. Kishu Minamiguchi plums are ripened on the tree and then pickled within 24 hours of being picked, giving them a smoky aroma, tangy taste, and a fruity aftertaste.

Hamada Co., Ltd. produces and sells plum products in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. The Tanabe area has been designated as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site, and although it is just a small town, it is famous for being the largest producer of plums in Japan. We sell our delicious locally produced plum products throughout Japan. In recent years, they have been producing high-quality plum wine without using any flavorings, colorings or antioxidants. Adhering to the principle of "from land preparation to finished product", plum wine is carefully handmade. In addition, the aged plum wine "HAMADA" named after the company and brewed using Ishigami Nanko plums has also been well received in various places.
