Crystal clear, the scent is rich and smooth with a hint of vanilla, sought after by more traditional juniper and citrus notes. Fresh berries complete this luxurious flavour. The palate is soft and full-bodied, giving way to lightly peppery and orange citrus flavours. The vanilla and fruity blueberry aroma is long and distinctive, allowing you to explore the flavours as it develops.

In Irish mythology, a mysterious place lies beyond the coast of Ireland, across the sea. These mysterious islands are known as the home of Ireland's ‘god of the sea’ (Mac Lir) and are called ‘other worlds’.

Invisible to the naked eye, free from sickness and death, they are a place of eternal youth and beauty. These islands can only be reached by conquering the Ninth Wave, the largest of all waves and the barrier that separates the human world from the Other World.

If you're not familiar with Irish mythology, the Ninth Wave is a huge wave that separates the earth from the ‘rest of the world’, a kind of unseen utopia off the coast of Ireland.

So Hinch Distillery decided to name it after their 9th Bolt!

This London Dry Gin is triple distilled by the Hinch Distillery in Ireland using a naturally purified blend of herbs and spices.

Nine botanicals are included: cinnamon, lemon verbena, orange peel, cardamom, peppercorns, orris root, angelica root, coriander seed and juniper berries. A delicious balance of aromatic spices and citrus, Felt Wine comes in a suitably wavy bottle with fragrant lemon zest, woody cinnamon and peppery juniper berries, with waxy citrus flavours and a hint of cardamom.
