The main family Matsuura Sake Brewery is a long-established large-scale brewery founded in 1804. It is famous for its famous sake "Naruto Tai" from Tokushima Prefecture and "Sudachi Sake" liqueur, which is a prefecture specialty sudachi juice mixed with sake. In the Edo period, it was located next to the Fukudachi Street, which was once a prosperous commercial street, and has been brewing for many years using local high-quality marine products and sake rice.

Adhering to the concept of learning from the past to understand the present, we continue to improve our brewing technology on the basis of inheriting the traditional brewing of our ancestors, and actively introduce innovative ideas, develop new products, and open up new areas for Japanese sake. We are fully committed to rice produced in Tokushima Prefecture, listen to the voices of producers, and deepen our knowledge of raw materials for better brewing. Yeast is mostly produced in Tokushima Prefecture.

The plums used in this plum wine are "overripe plums" grown on the farm of Fujioka Hitoshi, the "plum cultivation master" in Kamiyama Town. Fujioka has won the Kamiyama Plum Pickling Competition many times, and he has also devoted a lot of effort to the cultivation of plum trees. He has carefully cultivated pruning techniques for more than 50 years, making the plums large, high quality, and well-lit. When colleagues from the main family Matsuura Sake Brewery came to Kamiyama Town to purchase plums, they couldn't help but exclaimed after seeing these plums: "What beautiful plums!"
