Introduction: Adding yuzu from Furuzagawa Town, Wakayama Prefecture, to the base of plum wine to add a yuzu flavor. Furuzagawa Town is a famous yuzu producing area in Wakayama Prefecture, with more than 96% of the land covered by forest. Grapefruit is harvested from October to November every year, and the juice is squeezed immediately after harvesting to extract the freshest grapefruit flavor and essential oil. The wine has gorgeous aromas of yuzu and plum wine.

Hamada Co., Ltd. is located in Wakayama Prefecture, which has been the hometown of plum since the Edo period (1603-1868). The brewing area is uniquely endowed with a climate suitable for growing plums. It was given by the Plum God and laid the foundation for plum cultivation by our ancestors. Based on the spirit of craftsmanship, we are committed to producing plum products for customers to eat daily. In addition to making plum wine, it also produces prunes, plum vinegar, green plum jam, etc.

Like many Western wine regions, Hamada Co., Ltd. also emphasizes sustainable symbiosis. Hamada’s own farm is 250m above sea level, but it has long sunshine hours and the Kuroshio wind blowing from the sea brings many minerals, making it perfect for growing plums. The environment with a temperature difference between day and night is one of the favorable conditions for growing nutritious plum fruits. Hamada has established a unique cultivation method called "aromatic cultivation", which makes it possible to brew plum wine using only ripe plums, and manages it from the raw materials to ensure that the product maintains a high level and stable quality.
