【JIM BEAM - Jim Beam Whiskey】
Bourbon is undoubtedly a symbol of the American national spirit and a standard for Western tough guys. It is wild, unrestrained and uninhibited. When it comes to American bourbon whiskey, JIM BEAM is unavoidable. As the No. 1 bourbon whiskey in the United States and the most popular bourbon whiskey in the world, each bottle of Jim Beam is cellared for at least four years. In addition to using corn as the raw material, the interior of the matured barrel is roasted by strong fire, so the taste is strong and unique.
More than two centuries ago, the United States had just won independence. In order to encourage residents to move west, the new government decided to provide small pieces of idle land to adventurous immigrant pioneers, but the condition was that they must grow a native crop - corn. Founder Jacob Beam seized the opportunity and responded to the government's call to go to Kentucky to grow corn. But because corn was difficult to transport, immigrants made corn into a more popular product - pure corn whiskey. Jacob also began to brew wine, and sold his first barrel of whiskey in 1795, and named his distillery Old Tube.
In the blink of an eye, the Prohibition period arrived in the United States. Brewing came to an abrupt halt, and the Old Barrel Bourbon Distillery was closed for more than 10 years. Later, James Beam, the great-grandson of the founder Jacob Beam, inherited the family business. In 1933, the Prohibition was lifted, and the 70-year-old James Beam immediately rebuilt the distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. Under his careful care, the distillery achieved remarkable growth. In 1943, the original distillery was renamed Jim Beam. Currently, Frederick Booker Noe Ⅲ is the seventh generation of the family, and he is now responsible for supervising and inspecting products.
