Taste: Blackberry, brussels sprouts, big texture, and a hint of truffle. The entrance is good and layered, with the usual smoothness of Pomerol, medium-high body, and the aftertaste of apple wood, 8-10 seconds~

Chateau Guy-Croix has a long history in the Pomerol region. The vineyard’s owners, the Lebreton family, have a longer history in Bordeaux, dating back to 1477. The history of Guy's Cross Winery dates back to at least the mid-19th century, as the vineyards here began producing wine in 1772.

In the late 19th century, the estate not only produced its own wine, but also contracted the wine production of Château de Cerdandière.

Chateau La Croix de Gay was one of the first wineries in Pomerol to bottle its wines on site in the mid to late 19th century. From that time on, Guy's Cross Winery began to expand by purchasing land from other vineyards.

However, the modernization of Guy's Cross Winery began in the late 1960s. In the 1970s, Alain Raynaud was born here and began to participate in wine production, and later became the winery's winemaking consultant.

Alain Raynaud played an increasingly important role at Château Croix-du-Guy, which was managed by his father Noel Raynaud until his death in 1997.
