Haku Vodka is Japan's top vodka, owned by Suntory, the founder of Japanese whiskey, which owns Japan's top whiskey brands Yamazaki, Hakushu, Hibiki and Chita. Haku means "white" in Japanese, which is derived from "Japanese white rice (Hakumai)" and "pure white (Junpaku)". It is made from 100% Japanese "white rice" raw materials. Through the exquisite brewing technology of spirits craftsmen and their focus on the details of the process, they blend the clear, smooth and elegant and delicate rice aroma of Japan's top vodka, perfectly presenting the spirit of Japanese nature and Japanese craftsmanship.

The unique feature of white Haku Vodka is the three distillation processes. A pot still is used to distill rice wine with a lower alcohol concentration. The secondary distillation uses two different types of stills, pot still and continuous still, to distill a rich and delicate taste. The final process is carried out at the Suntory Liquor Workshop in Osaka. After several attempts, the craftsman finally chose "Japanese Bamboo Charcoal" made from bamboo, a plant unique to Japan, to filter the liquor and blend it, adding a rounded and smooth taste to the delicate flavor of this Japanese white rice.

Product design combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with evolving modernity. To convey it as a Japanese craft vodka, the distillery used Japanese materials with an artisanal quality – simple and pure. The curved lines on the bottle represent the shimmering streams that flow through Japanese nature and Japan’s four seasons. The label design consists of Junpaku (pure white) washi paper (representing the beauty of Japanese white rice, which is the soul of this vodka) and the Chinese calligraphy "Haku" in charcoal black, red and gold only. Simple and modern Japanese design without unnecessary decorations.
