The grape variety Veuve Clicquot is one of the most famous producers of Champagne and has been a bestseller since its inception in 1772. In 1814, at the end of the Napoleonic Wars and at a critical moment in the confrontation between Russia and France, Madame Clicquot took the risk of shipping 10,550 bottles of 1811 Champagne to Russia, where it became a huge success. In the following years, Clicquot became one of the most famous brands in the world, and the champagne was gradually becoming more and more in demand. In the years that followed, Champagne became one of the most famous brands in the world, and the demand for it grew to such a high level that Madame Caigle was honoured as the ‘Great Lady of Champagne’.

Veuve Clicquot Vintage Champagne is the most rounded Champagne amongst Champagne brands, following the principle of "Only one quality, the finest!

1. a blend of up to 70% of red grapes to convey the roundness and richness of Caigle Champagne

2. Ageing time higher than the legal ageing period; time in exchange for quality perseverance, in order to cultivate a round, deep and rich flavour.

3. Only Grand Cru and Premier Cru grapes from France's vineyard classification system are used to produce vintage champagne.

The winery currently offers the most basic and reflective of Caigle's champagne, the Yellow Label, the Rosé, the Vintage, and the flagship CavePrivée, as well as the CavePrivée, in honour of Madame Caigle. The most reflective of Caigle's Champagnes are Yellow Label, Rosé, Vintage, and the flagship CavePrivée, as well as La Grande Dame in honour of Madame Caigle.
