ZTUS025 - Wild Turkey 101 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Wild Turkey Distillery is located in Kentucky, the bourbon capital of the United States. It was founded in 1900 and has a history of more than a century. And the winemaker "Bourbon Godfather" Jimmy Russell is even more of a legend in the bourbon world! He joined Wild Turkey at the age of 19 (1954) and has served for more than 63 years now. He is the longest-serving whiskey distiller in the world. He was inducted into the Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2000 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
Wild Turkey Persistence:Uses non-GMO raw materials and does not add any colorants. It must be aged for at least five years before being bottled (the legal requirement is two years). All items are made with rye, giving them a unique taste. These insistences make Wild Turkey fundamentally different from ordinary bourbon. Jimmy Russell once said:
"In the past 60 years, we have used the same formula, the same corn, barley, rye, and homemade yeast. The only thing that has changed is better machines. I admit that I am stubborn and traditional, and I also believe that people will keep wanting to try it. We will work hard to adapt to new tastes, but we will not cater to them, because this 200-year tradition must be maintained."
