This has ripeness and verve. A blend of 75 per cent merlot, 17 per cent cabernet sauvignon and eight per cent cabernet franc. Second wine of Château Potensac. Exceptional value.

The 2016 Chapelle de Potensac is an absolutely gorgeous second wine from Jean-Hubert Delon's Potensac estate.Fresh, perfumed and beautifully lifted in the glass, the Chapelle is flat-out delicious. Floral notes add freshness to a core of sweet red cherry, pomegranate, blood orange and spice flavors. Delon's entire portfolio is impressive in 2016 but the wines from Potensac are especially of note.
