1859年獲得萬國博覽會第一面獎盃肯定殊榮並為拿破崙三世所偏愛。1864年獲得俄國沙皇鍾愛，在瓶標上用俄語打上俄國特選香檳。1912年鐵達尼號載著幾百枝Charles Heidsieck 香檳撞到冰山，輪船斷成兩截與酒一同跌進大西洋。到1985 年，科學家將沉睡了七十三年的Charles Heidsieck 香檳同鐵達尼一齊喚醒，還得到人頭馬干邑垂青，收購了香檳莊，回復其昔日的風光。幾經輾轉，現在已經是法國EPI (Europeenne de Participation Industrielle)旗下的頂級香檳品牌。

有關釀造 Winemaking

酒莊的地下酒窖長廊位於法國蘭斯市的 Saint-Nicaise 高地下約30公尺處，綿延八公里長。這裡曾經是西元3世紀羅馬人的採石場，迄今已有近2000年歷史。酒窖由白堊岩建造而成，2015年起已被列入聯合國教科文組織的世界遺產名錄（UNESCO World Heritage List），這裡穩定的溫度和濕度以及幽靜的環境為香檳的陳年提供了理想條件，賦予香檳更加複雜的風味和更細膩的氣泡。

眾所周知，香檳地區的法定葡萄品種有3種，但對於哈雪香檳而言，"Time as the fourth varietal" 這一理念深深地根植於他們的釀造哲學裡。時間，被酒莊認為是釀造香檳的第四種葡萄，能夠賦予香檳複雜而豐富的風味，以及獨特的順滑口感。

核心果實精選自香檳區最具代表性的 Côte des Blancs 特級與一級村如 Oger, Vertus 等靚區，精準演繹純淨的白堊岩礦石風土，酒莊停產白中白多年後重磅復出的匠心之作，酒液皆於名列聯合國世界遺產的「兩千年歷史高盧-羅馬白堊岩酒窖 Crayères」中靜置熟成，歷經 3 到 4 年的酒渣陳釀，遠超法定的 15 個月，完美展現酒莊標誌性的「奶油般豐潤絲滑」質地。

This mouthwatering Champagne is refined and satiny in texture, with a citrusy overtone to the flavors of apricot preserves, toasted hazelnut and brioche, crystallized honey and fleur de sel. Presents a lasting, smoke- and spice-filled finish.

Wine Advocate 91 pts

Produced on the foundation of the 2020 harvest and complemented by 30% reserve wines, Charles Heidsieck’s NV Blanc de Blancs (laid in chalk cellars in 2021) was disgorged at the end of 2023 with a dosage of nine grams per liter. The blend draws fruit from the Montagne de Reims and Montgueux (as base wines), the Sézannais and Côte des Blancs and incorporates 10% to 15% barrel-fermented components. The nose evokes nashi pear, candied lemon peel and peach, mingling with pastry, rosemary oil and subtle roasted nuances. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, ample and textural, with a charming fruit core enlivened by bright acidity and carried to a chalk-inflected finish. As demonstrated by its earlier renditions, this cuvée is poised to gain further complexity with a few additional years of post-disgorgement maturation.
