"The2018 Lynch Bages is made up of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 6% CabernetFranc and 3% Petit Verdot aging in 75% new barriques. Very deep purple-black incolor, the nose is quite coy and restrained to begin, fanning out to offerpure, ripe blackcurrants, black cherries and preserved plums with wafts of redroses, cigar box, incense, cardamom and fenugreek with savory touches of blackolives, Marmite toast and smoked meats. Full-bodied, the palate is built like abrick house, with a solid foundation of very firm, very ripe, grainy tanninsand superb freshness supporting the generous black fruit layers, finishing longwith provocative ferrous suggestions."

Chateau Lynch-Bages有一個為人熟悉的莊園名字“靚次伯”！靚次伯比Chateau Lafite（拉菲）、Chateau Le Pin（李鵬）更早成名。靚次伯是Paulliac地區的明星莊之一，左鄰右里有Pichon、Latour、Lafite與Mouton—Rothschild。事實上，五大酒莊之中，有四間在Medoc（梅鐸）地區，Medoc專出好酒是常識吧。五大酒莊出產價值不菲，飲不起名莊的，便要轉而求其次，所以靚次伯在香港亦有「窮人 Mouton」之稱。雖然在烈級莊中屬於第五級，但以今時的酒質及聲譽而言，絕對值得列為第二級酒莊之一！

靚茨伯莊園的葡萄園分佈於梅多克的心臟地帶——波雅克，梅多克四大一級莊中就有三座紮根於此，其風土之優越無需贅言。酒莊的葡萄園共佔地100公頃，其中94公頃種植了75%赤霞珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）、15%梅洛（Merlot）、8%品麗珠（Cabernet Franc）及2%味而多（Petit Verdot），平均樹齡為30年，最古老的一批樹齡已達60年；園內土壤以礫石為主，混有部分沙土和砂壤土，底土由黏土構成。這種土石結構排水性強，土質貧瘠，可促使葡萄藤往更深處紮根，汲取更豐富的養分，從而培育出風味複雜濃郁的果實。頂級佳釀的誕生離不開優越的風土、細緻的葡萄園管理，也少不了精準釀造工藝的助力。在靚茨伯莊園，葡萄成熟後全部由人工採收，經過多次篩選後方可用於釀酒。
