The grapes used by the estate to craft its appellation wines are almost exclusively sourced from the lower slopes of the villages of Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. Although labelled as appellation wines, what you actually taste is village-level quality, offering exceptional value for money – a real bargain!

The history of Boursot Père & Fils stretches back to the 16th century. As early as 1550, the family's ancestor Guillaume Boursot began cultivating grapes and producing wine in Chambolle-Musigny. Now in its 15th generation, its pedigree is unquestionably pure. With its long history and formidable expertise, it is a quality estate that even locals praise highly.

Only in recent years has the estate commenced independent bottling and sales, prompting wine critics Jasper Morris and Neal Martin to highlight it as a small-scale producer worthy of attention. Whilst gaining recognition locally, it remains relatively undiscovered on the international stage.
