【 One of the top two DOQs in Spain's famous production area Priorat]

Test report: Dark ruby color, aroma with slight vanilla, charred wood, smoky, Nosing all oak flavor.
The fruity barrel aroma is balanced and acidic. The Priorat region is known for its strong body with rough tannins, and at first I was worried that 2019 would be slightly younger for the Priorat region
As a result, the tannins performed well, the wine body has weight while not full of rough green tannins, the palate is finely grainy

Priorat The Priorat production area, is a DOCa-level production area in Spain, of the many production areas in Spain, there are only 2 DOCa-level production areas, the first is Rioja and the other is Priorat. Rioja was certified with Spain’s first DOCa in 1991; nine years later, in 2000, Priorat received Spain’s second Spanish DOCa. Priorat is located in Catalonia, so they are used to calling this DOCa in the local language DOQ
The Priorat climate is even more extreme than the typical continental climate, with almost nothing to grow except grapes and olives, the local terrain is mainly mountainous and hilly, the land is dry and rugged, which results in very low average yield, about five times lower than the rest of Spain, vineyards are generally on hillsides or terraced fields, grapes must be harvested manually due to steep slopes.
