Description: This wine is pale golden in color with delicate, lively bubbles, exuding aromas of flowers, dried fruit, and citrus fruits, as well as hints of almond and gingerbread. On the palate, it offers flavors of almond, papaya, and lemon. The wine is primarily made from grapes harvested in 2017, blended with base wines from 13 different vintages, and partially infused with base wine from 2001. It has been aged on lees for at least 7 years, resulting in rich nutty flavors.

【Krug Champagne Krug Winery】

Krug Krug Winery was founded by Joseph Krug in 1843 and has a history of more than 180 years. At that time, major wineries tended to make vintage Champagne, emphasizing the changes in the flavor of Champagne caused by the weather and terroir every year. Joseph Krug broke tradition at the time and hoped to produce the most mellow and delicious Champagne every year no matter how the climate changes. At this point, he launched the non-vintage Champagne "Krug Grande Cuvee", which was an unprecedented success. Nowadays, non-vintage Champagne is considered to be representative of the style of the Champagne house, especially in the cooler climate regions.

Although Chateau Krug is a member of the LVMH Group, its members also include other well-known brands Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot. But Krug's management team is still the same family and has independent decision-making space. It has been passed down to the sixth generation. Krug Winery has multiple product lines, including non-vintage Krug Grande Cuvee, pink champagne Krug Rose, and vintage champagne Krug Vintage.

Among them, Krug Grande Cuvee has been produced every year since 1843 and is divided into different editions. This 171 represents the 171st vintage, mainly using grapes from 2015, and then mixed with 42%, from 12 different years, a total of 131 Batch of Reserve wine, the oldest one is 2000 years old. Finally, it undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged for about 7 years before being bottled and released.
