Aromas of cabernet sauvignon with blackcurrants and flowers, as well as hints of pencil lead, follow through to a medium body with a solid core on the mid-palate and polished tannins. Tight on the finish and showing potential.

Structure from Cabernet Sauvignon and nutmeg aromas are paired with acidity and open blackberry flavors. The wine is generous with plenty of rich black-currant fruits.

It has solid cassis and almost raspberry-like fruit, notes of cedar, tobacco, and flowers, medium body, and silky, polished tannins. It's a classic Bordeaux to enjoy on release and over the following 10-12 years or so.

【Chateau Potensac ( 寶石酒莊 )】

簡介：經考證 Chateau Potensac ( 寶石酒莊 ) 最早為 Liquard 家族所擁有，但是在 1970 年改由 Chateau Leoville Las Cases（雄獅莊）和 Chateau Nenin （聶能酒堡）的 Delon 家族所擁有。在 Delon 家族的管理下，Chateau Potensac（寶石酒莊）的品質有目共睹，在 1855 的的分級前，曾經被公認可以到五級甚至四級的水準，可惜到最後卻成為遺珠；直到被選為 Cru Bourgeois 中級酒莊，才減少一點遺憾。2000年 Michel Delon 過世後由兒子 Jean-Hubert 所繼承，同時 Jean-Hubert 亦採取了新的變革，引進新的不銹鋼發酵設備，翻新一些老舊的器材，酒莊使用 30% 的新桶，嚴格的注重品質使其保持優良的釀製水準，土壤條件為左岸熟悉的沖積石渣與一些紅色黏土，葡萄摘取下來挑選並送至不銹鋼桶發酵，溫度約在 28℃ 左右，再經過15~18 天的滲浸與沉澱使葡萄酒達到一定的平衡，之後再裝入橡木桶陳年，約有 40％~45％ 左右的葡萄酒會被做成 La Chapelle de Potensac，時至今日，Chateau Potensac（寶石酒莊）已然成為 Cru Bourgeois 少數的 Exceptionnels 等級。釀造工藝 : 葡萄經人手採摘之後進入大不銹鋼桶中發酵，經蛋清過濾後放置橡木桶中進一步陳釀。發酵用的橡木桶有30%為新製造，剩餘70%來自 Chateau Leoville Las Cases (雄獅酒莊)。種植比例為：60% Cabernet Sauvignon，25% Merlot、10% Petit Verdot以及 5% Cabernet Franc。平均樹齡35年。
