The mid-palate reveals notes of black pepper, leather, oak, and vanilla, imparted by 14 months of ageing in French oak barrels! The palate is elegant and rounded, with ample acidity and supple, well-structured tannins, presenting a remarkably graceful and balanced profile. The finish intensifies with pronounced notes of prune and black tea, adding complexity to the wine. After decanting, it becomes exceptionally approachable.

Winery Introduction
Château La Fleur Peyrabon, translated in Chinese as ‘The Flower of Peyrabon’ or ‘Château Peyrabon,’ is one of the estates in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. It features on the 2012 Cru Bourgeois classification list published by the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois. Vineyard area: 7 hectares. Primary grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 67%, Merlot 26%, Petit Verdot 7%. Average vine age: 14 years. Soil type: gravel. Harvesting method: hand-picked.
The earliest recorded mention of the estate dates back to 1766. Subsequently, the property changed hands multiple times, passing through nineteen owners between 1785 and 1998. On 30 June 1998, the current owner Patrick Bernard invested 15 million French francs in the estate, aiming to restore its former glory through reconstruction.

Brewing Process:
Once the grapes have reached their ideal state of ripeness, the winery proceeds with hand-picking. Following selection and destemming, the grapes undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete vats. The resulting wine is then aged for fourteen months in French oak barrels, fifty per cent of which are new, before being bottled at the estate.

Pauillac appellation
Pauillac is situated in the Upper Médoc region of Bordeaux's Left Bank, France, and ranks among the Médoc's four renowned wine-producing communes. Positioned south of Saint-Estèphe and north of Saint-Julien, it encompasses 1,100 hectares of vineyards, accounting for approximately 7.5% of the Médoc's total vineyard area. The principal grape varieties cultivated are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, yielding an annual production of 8.5 million bottles. Pauillac's terrain features gentle slopes, with elevations ranging from 0 to 29 metres. Generally, vineyards in the northern part of the village sit at higher elevations with thicker gravel layers, underpinned by predominantly sandy, marly, and limestone soils. Conversely, the southern vineyards feature coarser gravel particles and a topsoil richer in clay. Each estate's vineyards are typically situated on distinct slopes, gravelly hillocks or terraces, endowing each plot with unique terroir conditions. This diversity contributes to the differing stylistic characteristics of wines produced by the three First Growth estates. The proximity to the river creates a slightly warmer microclimate, offering relative protection from frost. This environment fosters the production of high-quality grapes and provides favourable conditions for the ageing and storage of wine.
