【Wine Advocate 90+ pts】

The 2022 Pinot Noir is creamy and spicy,with poached strawberries, sumac, some oak that pokes through and plenty ofchalky tannin. The wine feels a little "elbows and knees" currently;but the cuvée ages well, and this appears to have all it needs to go somedistance in the cellar. It's light in frame but with persistent flavor. 13.5%alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Cloudy Bay 於新西蘭南島Marlborough 的 Wairau Valley，這個地區氣候涼爽，濕度較大，土質以黏土質為主，同時又是新西蘭日照時間最長的葡萄酒產區，已被公認為新西蘭釀造 Sauvignon Blanc 最理想的產區。在當地深耕多年的 Cloudy Bay，是前幾家讓國際舞台重視新西蘭葡萄酒的大功臣，可以說是新西蘭的國寶級酒廠。



酒莊擁有140公頃的葡萄園，並目與 Wairau 山谷其他五個葡萄農莊訂有長期合約。所釀造的葡萄酒皆屬於量少質佳的精品，包含了白酒中的夢幻極品。其中，酒莊的未過桶Sauvignon Blanc、Chardonnay白酒，甚至Pinot Noir紅酒，都曾擠進美國第一大專業葡萄酒雜誌《Wine Spectator》的百大排名。而酒莊的"Te Koko"浸桶Sauvignon Blanc，更是許多國際酒評家青睞的夢幻逸品。創新、對細節的一絲不苟以及堅持地區特色是 Cloudy Bay 的宗旨。現在，酒莊也積極宣導與環境更和諧的葡萄園管理方式。

【Cloudy Bay - 雲霧之灣的起源】 





1983 年，David Hohnen 品嚐了他的第一款馬爾堡長相思。被它的強度所吸引，他開始​​了將馬爾堡的精華裝瓶並與世界分享的旅程。
1985 年，他和釀酒師凱文·賈德 (Kevin Judd) 推出了 Cloudy Bay 酒莊，獲得了國際讚譽，其中一款長相思 (Sauvignon Blanc) 使新西蘭葡萄酒名聲大噪。 Cloudy Bay 於 2003 年加入 Veuve Clicquot，並於 2010 年成為 LVMH 家族的一員。
Cloudy Bay 的傳奇始於馬爾堡的長相思，現在包括霞多麗、黑皮諾和傳統方法 Pelorus méthode traditionnelle。 Te Koko（桶裝發酵的長相思）和 Te Wahi（來自我們兩個特殊的南部葡萄園的精緻的中奧塔哥黑皮諾）延續了冒險精神。
