Te Wāhi 源自兩處風格迥異的葡萄園調配而成，Northburn 坐落於鄧斯坦湖陡峭的東岸，這裏嚴酷的岩石冰川土壤孕育出結構緊湊、風味濃郁的果實。Calvert 位於Bannockburn的Felton Road，坐落於古代湖床的淤泥質黏土中，產出豐腴芳香的果實。


來自兩個互補的Central Otago葡萄園的葡萄，大部分都會去梗後放入開放式發酵罐中發酵，部分則採用整串發酵。春季時，葡萄酒會經歷延長浸漬和自然蘋果酸-乳酸發酵。發酵完成的酒分批在法國橡木桶內熟成約12個月，其中30%是新桶。


香氣撲鼻而富有表現力，先是誘人的黑朱古力與車厘子香氣熱烈迸發，甜潤中帶著一絲烘烤的綿密，緊接著薄荷的清新感如晨霧般漫來，中和了甜香的厚重，讓整體香氣更顯靈動；口感清新活潑，充滿活力的酸度，純淨感極佳其間伴有誘人的醋栗果凍香氣同時還有深沉的冷萃咖啡風味再次展現出美妙的碎薄荷葉提升感。單寧細膩絲滑，賦予葡萄酒柔順而誘人的質感。

Plenty of ripe and dried strawberries with a slate and metal-shavings undertone on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, it has soft and exquisite tannins and a long and caressing finish. One of the best pinot noirs I have had from Cloudy Bay.


【Wine Enthusiast 93 pts】

Supple blueberry and blackberry fruit is well at the fore on this premium Pinot, followed by far subtler dried herb, cedar and licorice notes. There's a level of round richness and concentration to the palate, a silky texture and a lovely tangy acidity. Tannins are fine grained with a sandpaper texture, supporting rather than dominating.

Cloudy Bay 於新西蘭南島Marlborough 的 Wairau Valley，這個地區氣候涼爽，濕度較大，土質以黏土質為主，同時又是新西蘭日照時間最長的葡萄酒產區，已被公認為新西蘭釀造 Sauvignon Blanc 最理想的產區。在當地深耕多年的 Cloudy Bay，是前幾家讓國際舞台重視新西蘭葡萄酒的大功臣，可以說是新西蘭的國寶級酒廠。



酒莊擁有140公頃的葡萄園，並目與 Wairau 山谷其他五個葡萄農莊訂有長期合約。所釀造的葡萄酒皆屬於量少質佳的精品，包含了白酒中的夢幻極品。其中，酒莊的未過桶Sauvignon Blanc、Chardonnay白酒，甚至Pinot Noir紅酒，都曾擠進美國第一大專業葡萄酒雜誌《Wine Spectator》的百大排名。而酒莊的"Te Koko"浸桶Sauvignon Blanc，更是許多國際酒評家青睞的夢幻逸品。創新、對細節的一絲不苟以及堅持地區特色是 Cloudy Bay 的宗旨。現在，酒莊也積極宣導與環境更和諧的葡萄園管理方式。



Cloudy Bay 近年來致力於發展酒莊規模、以期許釀造品質卓越的葡萄酒。酒莊相信專業釀酒莊未來的成功，必需從釀這獨一無二的區域性葡萄為出發點，挑選出最適合在該產區顄造的葡萄品種，結合各個葡萄品種的特性及天然環境條件，才能醖頸出受人認同、無可取代的酒莊風格。


【Cloudy Bay - 雲霧之灣的起源】 





1983 年，David Hohnen 品嚐了他的第一款馬爾堡長相思。被它的強度所吸引，他開始​​了將馬爾堡的精華裝瓶並與世界分享的旅程。
1985 年，他和釀酒師凱文·賈德 (Kevin Judd) 推出了 Cloudy Bay 酒莊，獲得了國際讚譽，其中一款長相思 (Sauvignon Blanc) 使新西蘭葡萄酒名聲大噪。 Cloudy Bay 於 2003 年加入 Veuve Clicquot，並於 2010 年成為 LVMH 家族的一員。
Cloudy Bay 的傳奇始於馬爾堡的長相思，現在包括霞多麗、黑皮諾和傳統方法 Pelorus méthode traditionnelle。 Te Koko（桶裝發酵的長相思）和 Te Wahi（來自我們兩個特殊的南部葡萄園的精緻的中奧塔哥黑皮諾）延續了冒險精神。
