特色 / 木桶陳存 全手工摘採葡萄 / 葡萄汁於不鏽鋼桶控溫發酵後,葡萄酒移到 Salvonian 及 Allier 橡木桶中陳放36個月,裝瓶後再陳放一年,才進入市場。

評價:Col d’Orcia身為Montalcino產區裡最歷史悠久的酒莊之一,坐落在俯瞰著Orcia河流的山丘上,面南朝向的方位,讓陽光均勻地灑落在酒莊的每一個角落。Col d’Orcia早在四百多年前已經種植了葡萄、橄欖、小麥、煙草等農作物。Montalcino的微氣候,以及含石灰石和礦物質的土壤,是特別適合Brunello的完美成長環境。2015年在意大利係一個非常優秀的年份,炎熱,雨量也較為稀少,但七月初適時的降雨,讓葡萄有更完美的成熟度,也讓葡萄裡的甜美更加集中。Montalcino 更加係2015年的意大利眾多產區中出色葡萄酒酒精濃度較高,單寧強勁,酸度偏高,但新鮮純淨,富有層次,暗示著驚人的窖藏潛力。

The Cold'Orcia 2015 Brunello di Montalcino (made with organic fruit) has a verydistinctive aromatic profile with subtle hints of rusty iron and moist pottingsoil. However, this wine also shows an impressive evolution in the glass withthose earthy and sanguine notes lifting to reveal sweet oak tones of vanillaand baking spice that remain pronounced in a second underlayer. To me, Cold'Orcia's wines are almost always characterized by a medicinal or balsamicelement, and the primary fruit is downplayed as a result. This vintage puts ona good show with wild berry, blackcurrant and dried blackberry. That said, thiswine is more ethereal and spicy than it is fruity per se.

A full, very layered young Brunello with cherry, floraland light toffee and cedar character. It’s very layered and fine-tannined.Lively acidity and focus. Really attractive dried citrus at the end. Fromorganically grown grapes. Give this two or three years to soften. Try after2022 and onwards.

[Wine Spectator 94 pts]

This combines the best characteristics of Sangiovese,with cherry and strawberry fruit, earth, leather and iron notes and balsamicelements of wild thyme, rosemary and Mediterranean scrub. Shows a bit of heaton the finish, yet remains fresh and long. Best from 2023 through 2042.

[Decanter 92 pts]

Quite flinty andreductive at first, a vigorous swirl releases scented herb, Mediterranean shruband dry earth on a warm summer day. Despite being fully charged with fruit andtannin, it offers nice tension with appetising acidity. This needs a couple ofyears to come around and will age well for at least a decade after that -possibly more. Col d'Orcia has one of the most extensive library cellars in theregion. Having tried a number of these older bottles, I can confidently saythat they stand the test of time in diverse vintage conditions. (MM)  (2/2020)
