Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cos Labory opens with cassis, plums and herbs with notions of black soil and pencil lead. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and fresh with fine-grained tannins and nice purity, finishing long.
Vinous 92 pts—
The 2016 Cos Labory is a supple, pretty wine with plenty of near andmedium-term appeal. Sweet tobacco, cedar, leather, scorched earth andmenthol are all nicely laced together. From bottle, the 20l6 is a bit moresubdued than it was from barrel, while some slightly rough contours aregoing to need time in bottle to sort themselves out fully.

Plenty of plum and smoke on this rather broad St.-Estèphe and there’s just enough character and structure to hold it on track. Soft finish.

Sweet tobacco and currants with cedar undertones here. It’s medium-bodied with a solid core of polished tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Shows focus and solidness.
【Decanter 91】
Not giving too much away on the nose, it's austere and closed on the attack but it opens up well, and will age. Fleshy cassis and brambled hedgerow fruits come through from the mid palate, and all is held together by firm slightly rustic tannins. Old school but good, from a lovely property that often flies under the radar.

The 2017 Cos Labory is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and very fragrant and floral with red and black fruits, some spices and earth plus a waft of herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, soft, fine-grained and juicy with good expression and length.

Chateau Cos-Labory 中文譯柯斯拉伯麗酒莊，位於波爾多左岸的Saint-Estephe聖埃斯泰夫產區，地理位置十分優越，Chateau Lafite-Rothschild（拉菲古堡）和Chateau Cos d'Estournel（愛士圖爾酒莊）近在咫尺。
該酒莊最初名為Cos-Gaston，這一名字來源於居住在此地的加斯頓（Gaston）家族。當時的莊主是皮埃爾·加斯頓（PierreGaston），在他的管理下，酒莊被經營得有聲有色。 1777年8月，皮埃爾·加斯頓（PierreGaston）去世，酒莊傳給了他的兒子海信斯（Hyacinthe）。隨後的許多年，海信斯一直掌管著酒莊。後來，他將酒莊傳給了他唯一的孩子瑪麗·森尼（MarieSany），在瑪麗·森尼嫁給了佛朗索瓦-阿曼德·拉伯麗（Francois–ArmandLabory）之後，莊園便傳入到拉伯麗家族手中。當時酒莊的地位十分顯赫，葡萄酒年產量為81,000公升，足以與那個時代梅多克的眾多大型酒莊媲美。
佛朗索瓦Francois過世後，他的8個子女都沒有得到該酒莊。 1847年，酒莊落入Chateau Cos d'Estournel愛士圖爾酒莊的莊主路易斯-加斯帕·愛士圖爾（Louis–Gaspardd'Estournel）手中，五年後便由英國的銀行家查爾斯·塞西爾·瑪蒂斯（CharlesCecilMartyns）收購。查爾斯Charles管理期間，該酒莊于1855年被評為五級酒莊。此後酒莊便開始頻繁易主，直至1922年被現今莊主的祖先安布羅修（Ambrosio）和奧格斯托·韋伯（AugustoWeber）買下。
Chateau Cos-Labory柯斯拉伯麗酒莊目前的葡萄園面積達18公頃，葡萄藤的平均樹齡為35年，很多葡萄藤的樹齡甚至超過了50年。植株的種植密度為8,700株/公頃。葡萄園土壤以砂質粘土為主，非常適合赤霞珠（CabernetSauvignon）和品麗珠（CabernetFranc）的生長，這兩種葡萄的種植面積分別占到55%和10%。除此之外，還種有33%的梅洛（Merlot）和2%的味而多（PetitVerdot）。葡萄在成熟後，既可採用手工採摘也可利用機器採摘。手工採摘的葡萄會在葡萄園裡進行篩選，而用機器採摘的葡萄，則在酒窖中進行篩選，之後會進行去梗和壓榨過程，然後送入不銹鋼的發酵罐中進行發酵。所有的大桶都有控溫裝置，這些裝置都是在1999年安裝的。葡萄果粒會在10°C的溫度下進行短期低溫浸泡，在28°C下添加人工酵母進行發酵，每天進行兩次淋皮和兩次踩皮，浸漬期為3-4個星期，之後約在20°C–21°C的溫度下進行乳酸發酵。最後，葡萄酒會在40-50%的新橡木桶中陳年14-15個月。酒莊正牌酒年產量約為7,000箱；副牌酒年產量約為3,300箱。正牌葡萄酒多呈漂亮的寶石紅色澤，帶有美妙的酒香，以及橡木風味，非常優雅。
