Marlborough（馬爾伯勒）位於紐西蘭南島的北部，與北島的Wellington（威靈頓）隔海相望。Marlborough是Sauvignon Blanc理想的種植地方，響譽國際酒界。相較其他區域，Marlborough區日照較長，但還是屬於涼爽的氣候型態，在最熱的季節裡平均最高氣溫只有18℃。加上山脈地形保護，使生長期間很少出現下雨情況；溫暖充足的日照配合涼爽夜晚氣候條件，葡萄熟成緩慢，創造出恰到好處的甜度，又不失其原有的果實酸度，散發出濃郁的水果香與柑橘類清新酸味，結合萊姆與清爽礦石口感，無怪乎獲得許多酒界人士的推崇。
