Maybe this isn't quite as stunning as the brilliant 2010Potensac, but it’s a ripe and very classic Médoc with greatcassis fruit, medium body and supple tannins making for avery flexible food wine. Drink or hold
【VINOUS 92pts】
The 2009 Potensac has an attractive bouquet withblackberry, melted tar, black tea and graphite scents.Nicely defined it maybe a little conservative given thegrowing season. The palate is medium-bodied with finetannin, crisp acidity. Classic in style with fine graphite andcedar notes towards the finish. Enjoy this now and over thenext decade.
【DECANTER 90pts】
One of the value wines in the line up, from the Delonstable, this is enjoyable if notably shorter on the finish thansome of the more concentrated wines. It has clear spicenotes, and enjoyable hedgerow fruit with a blackberry andcedar character.
