隸屬Bernard Magrez的釀酒企業之下,是Magrez位於波爾多的三個列級酒莊之一,其釀酒顧問更是大名鼎鼎Michel Rolland及Jean Cordeau。 早在中世紀便已存在,在1855年波爾多分級制度時,由Leuken的後代,Jean-Jacques Leutken夫婦管理,成為葡萄園佔地52公頃的四級酒莊~ 風土條件完美展現酒莊位於波爾多左岸,土壤組成以礫石表土為主,底土則多為黏土與石灰岩。葡萄園如今佔地約73公頃,位處緩坡,多半為西南坐向。酒莊主要品種與比例為45%的卡本內蘇維濃(Cabernet Sauvignon),50%的梅洛(Merlot),與5%其他品種,産率均控制在平均每公頃30,000〜40,000公升左右。在葡萄園管理方面,酒莊的剪枝和修葉動作頻繁,葡萄藤也任其長得較高,以利通風和日照,為求乾爽與更為成熟的果實。葡萄園全面手工採收,經過兩次人工挑果之後,才進入釀酒階段。酒渣會在可容納70,000〜155,000公升的超大不鏽鋼桶槽中發酵8-9天,溫度約32°C,然後再浸漬約一個月的時間。酒莊的正莊使用最好的葡萄酒,產量每年約15,000箱,其他約9,000箱的酒會成為名為Douves de Carnet的副牌酒

Part of the empire of Bernard Magrez, this blend of 61% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc is a sleeper of the vintage in 2012. Its excellent dense ruby/purple color, sweet cassis, black cherry fruit, supple tannins, medium to full body and attractive, long finish make for an impressive wine that should drink nicely for 10-15 years. It’s already accessible. This is another wine that performed dramatically better from the bottle than from barrel tastings.
